OCR: Deselecting elements or path points Aldus FreeHand allows you to apply attributes to selected element or to move them to different layers easily so easily that you can perform actions accidentally While simple enough to undo step, you should develop the habit quickly deselecting elements you work, so that you don't alter or move elements unless you choose to To deselect one or more selected elements press the Tab key click the pointer tool in an empty area of the illustration page or pasteboard. To deselect selected path point but not the path, press the Ti key which is located above the Tab key on most extended keyboards Note: If you've subselected an element within grouped or blend element you can press the Tilde key to deselect that element whil leaving the group or blend selected
